Finding your life's purpose.
Many people say that you choose your lifes purpose, which in a sense true. I believe that everyones purpose is to help other in one form or another. Thus a life driven by greed does not lead to happiness.
No one can tell you what your purpose is though, and it is something that must be figured out for oneself. Here are a list of questions that will help you realize what your life is all about. The beauty of it is once you know what your purpose is everything falls into place and there is a lot less confusion, you can clearly see your end. For each answer, re-question, re-question over and over till you get to the root of the idea. Its best to write down as much as possibly for each question it takes time but is the most important assignment of your life. I recommend to Copy and Paste all of this into a word file and then fill in the answers.
What do you want your life to look and feel like?
What do you value most? What is important to you?
What matters most at this point in life?
What would you like to say about your life after it is too late to do anything about it?
Many years from now, at your funeral, what do you hope will be said in your eulogy?
What do you want your life to look and feel like on a day to day basis?
What emotions would you like to feel consistently?
What would you like other peoples perception of you to be?
What are your daydreams about?
When you were young what did you want to be when you grew up?
Do you ever find yourself wishing you were different? What did you wish? Why are you not that way? What gets in your way?
Of all the things you have done in your life, what has given you the most satisfaction or pleasure?
If you no longer had to work, how would you spend your time? And With whom?
What is missing from your life? When you find yourself wishing for something, what is it?
What motivates you to perform above and beyond the call of duty?
What are your greatest strengths?
What are your greatest weaknesses?

Rank the five or six most important from most to least.
Step 3: Question Step 1 + 2.
What are the things stopping you, if any, from having what you want in your life?
What self-imposed limitations stand in the way?
I had 3 Top things and they are listed later on.
Step 4: Write your own eulogy.
This step helps a lot by keeping the end in mind so the path can be clear.
You are to receive 3 eulogy's at your funeral:
The first from someone you worked with.
What they would say about you?
What sort of person would they describe you as?
What are some of the things you did they would talk about?
How does it make you feel?
The second is a close family member.
What are the funny things they talk about?
What were you really like to them as a person?
what were your dreams and ambitions that they witnessed you accomplish?
The last one from your best friend.
What did they think about you?
What kind of person did they describe what kind of person you are?
What you did?
What you were like?
What were your hopes and dreams?
What are they saying about you?
What else do they say?
Did they cover everything or did they not know what all your dreams were?
Did you feel that those 3 people clearly expressed who you were and what you did?
Was there more you wanted to say and do?
Would you want another chance at life?
Would you want more time?
If you knew your time was up would you act differently?
Would you tell those around you that you loved them?
Are there things you would do if you had more time?
Think about the things you would do differently.
What are some things you would definitly do if you were granted more time?
Would you live each second realizing how precious life is?
What if you had an extra month?
An extra year? Two? Five?
How precious would that be to you?
What would you promise in exchange for this extra time?
Would you promise to do whatever it takes to not waste another second of your life?
Would you promise to never let a day go by without expressing your love to the people you care
about?
Would you promise to put your passion and belief into everything you do?
What would you be willing to do to get that extra time?
If you were granted that chance, would you live your life differently?
What are some things in your life you would change?
What are some things that would be most important to you that you would focus on?
Who are some people you might express some love to and let them know how you really feel while
you are alive and while they can hear you?
What would you do differently?
What are some of the things you would like to change?
Would you fulfill your purpose while you had that chance?
How would your life be different?
Imagine that you were given that chance.
Would you live up to the conditions that you gave?
Would you be absolutely commited to doing whatever it takes to never waste another second of
your life again?
Would you make it the best life you could possibly make it?
Will you be able to hear the eulogy you want to hear?
Imagine the different eulogy.
What satisfaction would you have knowing that your life came to an end, but you gave it
everything you could?
How would that make you feel?
You lived your purpose. You lived with passion, you had courage and you did not dwell on fear,
but through creativity you did what it took.
List some of the things you would change in your life and what you would promise, to be granted
extra time.
It is time to write your own eulogy.
Assuming you have the life you want from this point forward, what will your eulogy say about
your life?
Top 3 things I want:3. Freedom - Become free from internal and external restrictions, which means being able to do what I want, having that control over myself. To not have money be a factor in what I do, so that I can freely help anyone anywhere at anytime. Freedom comes from having control over myself and my habits. Walking a new path when there is a wall in the way. A willingness to be a beginner and take everything as an opportunity. |
Barriers and Limitations:3. Freedom - This comes with Harmony, Energy and Productivity. The productivity is a natural biproduct of being harmonous and energic aswell. Knowledge of any topic can allow success with in it once harmony and energy are brought into play. |
