Control Dramas
Control Dramas are ways for people to get energy.
When you were a baby if you were to cry your parents would run to your side and shower you in love. Do you think you can take energy? How is it that your parents would walk away from you afterwards like a broken energizer bunny?
But as you grew older if you had siblings you would then have to compete for their energy. And there are 4 Major ways to get it.
1. Poor Me: Their way of getting energy is to get your sympathy by telling you about thier tragic circumstances. Ex. "You dont understand how tough this is for me" and "You do not realise the pain im going through" Its never fun to hang around with this attitude because you feel like shit yourself after. In regards to dealing with Poor Me if anyone knows how to help to understand LET ME KNOW.
2-3. Intimidators or Interrogators: They are usually rude and abrupt. To gain energy they try to put you down, so that they can compare egos and feel superior. Once they feel superior they usually dont stop because they are on a ride and your the pavement. This boost is only temporary and not natural. This is often the strongest type of Control Drama, because in an argument you may become upset they win and in spite of the way they are you make sure you are not like them.. so you become a Poor Me or Aloof. These types can be the easiest to deal with because when they try to put you down and it doesnt work there is not much they can do except physically hit you. But if you smile through that then your safe.
4. Aloof: They seem quiet and shy, and often to not participate in an attempt to be different. This is a weak variation but regardless people still wonder, ponder, become curious as to whats going on. Often to promote optimal energy people around will repediately invite the aloof into joining and their saying "No" is their way of feeling superior. And if you feel better you are better. Ish.
